What is draftna?
Draftna is an editing service specializing in analysis and in-depth editing of a range of social science academic papers including papers for classes, dissertations, theses, manuscript drafts, and grant revisions. Draftna also offers lighter editing services for those who would just like “another set of eyes” on their documents.

In every academic position I have ever held, I've enjoyed helping my students and colleagues with their writing. Most of the time, people know what they want to say but are so close to their own work that they can't figure out the best way to say it. I enjoy taking the time to help people get through the weeds, and I love seeing their thoughts transform into well-articulated arguments. To me, editing a paper is like completing a puzzle; I help people make sense of their thought pieces so that the pieces eventually fit together.
I have a Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology from Cornell University, and I have published several peer-reviewed articles. Before moving to my current home in Southern California, I taught various courses as an adjunct professor at several colleges. Most recently I was an Assistant Professor of Human Development at a local community college, teaching students strategies for increasing success in their academics and future careers.
